Christian joined the Board of SAVWIPL in an Executive capacity in March 2022 and is responsible for steering the Sales & Marketing for the Group’s brands - ŠKODA, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini and Group After Sales in Indian region.
As Head of Management of Global Regions, he was responsible for management of strategically important regions of ŠKODA AUTO including India, China, North Africa and Russia. An automotive industry veteran, with over 30 years of experience, Christian completed his Diploma in Physics Study from the University of Stuttgart. He joined ŠKODA AUTO a.s. in 2011 and has been instrumental in the Group’s success story across the years.
Tarun Mehta, graduated from IIT Madras with a degree in Engineering Design (Dual Degree 2012). Along with Swapnil Jain, he conceptualised and started ‘Ather Energy’ in April 2013. Ather developed India’s first smart electric scooter that aims to revolutionise two-wheeler driving in India. At IIT, Tarun was associated with various product development teams and actively involved with the entrepreneurship ecosystem (C-TIDES). He worked on more than a dozen prototypes over a wide range of topics and has six co-patents (pending) under his name. Driven by his core interest towards electric vehicles, Tarun quit his job at Ashok Leyland in the year 2012 to start work on battery packs which is one of the biggest existing shortcomings in electric vehicles today. Eventually, realising that the problem isn’t just the battery pack, the team was drawn to the idea of designing and building a completely new electric vehicle. As CEO at Ather Energy, Tarun drives the strategic thinking for the company while also liasoning with government agencies to create EV supportive eco-systems and eectively managing internal and external stakeholders, all with a stubborn vision of delivering the best experience to Ather’s customers. He represented Ather in the ‘Technical Advisory Group for Electric Mobility’, to the Government of India. He also led the Electric Vehicle group in the Champions of Change program organised by Niti Aayog. Tarun and Swapnil were listed on the Forbes 30 under 30 in 2018 and Fortune 40 under 40 list in 2017, 2019 & 2021 for their innovative product that is disrupting the Indian auto industry.
Mamatha Chamarthi was appointed Head of Software Business and Product Management with P&L responsibility for Global, Americas and Asia in April 2021. In this role, Chamarthi leads Software Business and Product Management to transform Stellantis into a customer-centric sustainable mobility company. She also has cross-functional program leadership responsibility for connectivity and infotainment, ensuring the company develops and delivers software solutions that exceed customer expectations.
Previously, Chamarthi was Chief Information Officer, FCA - North America and Asia Pacific, a role she held since April 2019. In this position, she launched the company's digital transformation and oversaw all information technology applications and infrastructure in support of business units located in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Asia Pacific.

Dirk Adamczyk, born in 1972, studied Automotive Engineering at RWTH Aachen.He started his career as a design engineer at Audi AG in 1998.
In 2001 Dirk joined ZF Friedrichshafen AG starting in engineering of chassis systems, followed by chassis components for the Asia Pacific region and the role as Engineering Director for the Chassis Components business unit.
Since 2012 he has worked in various functions in corporate R&D. And, in 2020 Dirk Adamczyk took over his recent role as Senior Vice President Engineering Services and Solutions.

Nikolaus Lang is a Managing Director and Senior Partner in BCG’s Munich office and has been working for the firm since 1998. Vikramadithya Gourineni is the Executive Director of Amara Raja Batteries and leads the company’s New Energy Business vertical which is in the process of setting up a Gigafactory for manufacturing Lithium-Ion batteries for Electric Vehicles.

Ranjan Bhattacharya is a career HSBC banker, with close to two decades of specialized experience in banking solutions for Financial Institutions and Corporates.
Ranjan heads Strategy & Planning for HSBC in India, a global priority market for HSBC, within the top five in terms of PBT contribution. He is a part of the India Executive Committee (EXCO) of the Bank, and also a nominee Director of the Board of HSBC’s insurance Joint Venture in India. He has led various strategic initiatives for HSBC in India including GIFT City branch licensing, and is a part of the India-UK working group on GIFT City. Prof. B.S. Murty started his academic journey with a Diploma in Metallurgy (1983) and obtained his BE (1986) from VRCE Nagpur, ME (1988) and PhD (1992) from IISc, Bangalore. Amaresh Chakrabarti is a Senior Professor and Chair at the Centre for Product Design and Manufacturing, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore. He has a BE in Mechanical Engineering from IIEST, Shibpur, ME from IISc, Bangalore, and PhD in Engineering Design from University of Cambridge, UK. After PhD, he led for ten years the design synthesis group of the EDC – a CoE in engineering design at University of Cambridge, before joining IISc directly as an Associate Professor.
Prof. Chakrabarti has made several original and outstanding contributions in engineering design and manufacturing research. He is widely recognized as a pioneer for design research in India. His research interests include design synthesis, creativity, sustainability, AI, informatics, and Industry 4.0. His major research contributions include development of empirically validated measures of design creativity, World’s first automated configuration synthesis tool ‘FuncSION’, World’s first biomimetic inspiration tool ‘Idea-Inspire’, and ‘DRM’ – a design research methodology co-developed by him that is widely used as a framework for design research. He is enlisted in the top 2% of researchers in 'Design Practice and Management' in the Stanford University study on global scientific impact of researchers; he is the highest cited researcher from India in this area.
In 2006, Prof. Chakrabarti initiated ‘ICoRD’, India’s first international conference series on research into design. In 2014, he co-initiated India’s first indigenous Smart Factory R&D platform, expanding this in 2019 into a CEFC under the SAMARTH Udyog Programme of Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India. In 2019, he co-initiated ‘I-4AM’, an international conference series on Industry 4.0 & advanced manufacturing. With support from Government of Karnataka, he co-initiated CPDMED, India’s first Tech Business Incubator in elderly healthcare. He also co-initiated the MTech smart manufacturing and PhD in advanced manufacturing programmes at IISc. In 2021, he co-initiated a PG professional certification programme in ‘Digital Manufacturing & Smart Factories’. He also heads the IISc-TCS Innovation Lab, the IISc Press, and the Springer International book series 'Design Science & Innovation'. Mahesh Babu is the Chief Executive Officer of Switch Mobility Ltd. He has a rich experience of over 25 years in mobility. Mahesh has been instrumental in setting up Switch Mobility in India, the electric vehicle subsidiary of Ashok Leyland, and in launching India’s first electric double decker, the Switch EiV 22.
Mahesh was featured in the LinkedIn power profiles for 2018, in India, and received the India’s Greatest CEO award for 2017-18 from Asia One.
Mahesh is a Fulbright Scholar and has completed his Leadership in Management from the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, and holds a postgraduate degree in Engineering from BITS, Pilani. He is also an Alumni of IMD, Switzerland, and Yale, USA, as part of the Executive leadership program.
Prior to joining Switch, Mahesh was the Managing Director and CEO at Mahindra Electric. Under his leadership, he launched six new electric vehicles, which include, 3-wheelers, commercial 4- wheelers, passenger cars, and a mobility software platform called NEMO. He has been instrumental in shaping policy in India by bringing Electric TCO solutions of future mobility through path breaking initiatives in 4W passenger, commercial fleet, and last mile mobility.
Mahesh was with Mahindra for 23 years and worked in the design and development of engine and vehicle platforms from frugal 3-wheelers to the flagship XUV models. He holds two joint patents and was the recipient of Mahindra Group’s Innovation Award twice. One of the most prestigious projects under his leadership was India’s first monocoque SUV, the XUV500. Before joining Mahindra, he worked with Ashok Leyland in the engine R&D department.
He has also worked in various EV committees of the Indian Government, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI).

Hizmy Hassen is the Chief Digital and Supply Chain Officer at Apollo Tyres Ltd.
Hizmy has over 25 years of experience in supply chain management, IT, and driving digital transformation in multinational organizations.
As Chief Digital and Supply Chain Officer at Apollo, he leads the strategy and operations of its digital journey. Alongside this, he is responsible for the future architecture roadmap and evolution of the IT delivery model. Digitalization is one of the key pillars of Apollo’s five-year growth strategy and one that Hizmy plays a key role in underpinning.
Hizmy’s previous assignment was with Coats PLC - the World's leading industrial thread manufacturer - before which, he was with Unilever. At Coats PLC, Hizmy held positions as the Global Supply Chain Director and Global CIO, where he was responsible for Digital and Technology within Coats Group PLC.
Hizmy has been credited with transforming the Global Technology function at Coats, implementing a cloud strategy as well as other modern technologies to underpin digital transformation. He has pioneered digital solutions achieving very high adoption levels, leading to a total transformation of the Coats’ go-to-market strategy. He led the digitalization of Coats’ customer-facing interactions which laid the solid foundation for their sales growth and increased productivity and implemented industry 4.0.
Mr. R Dinesh, a fourth-generation TVS Family member, is a Commerce Graduate and an Associate Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India. He is the Executive Vice Chairman of TVS Supply Chain Solutions and Director at TVS Automobile Solutions, India,s largest Independent Automobile Aftermarket Solutions provider.
Mr. Dinesh is the Chairman of the CII National Committee on Logistics and Chairs CII Institute of Logistics Advisory Council. Mr. Dinesh, through his role in CII, played a pivotal role in getting the 'infrastructure status, for the Logistics sector. He is also the Chairman of the CII FBN (Family Business Network) India Chapter Council.
Mr. Dinesh has won many awards including, 'Icon of the Year, from ICT Academy of Tamilnadu for the year 2018, 'Entrepreneur of the Year award for 'Services, category by Ernst & Young in 2017. He is also the recipient of TiECON,s 'Next Gen Entrepreneur of the year 2014, award and 'Emerging Entrepreneur, award by CII in 2010.
Often referred to as 'game changer, within the fraternity, Mr. Dinesh, has started TVS Supply Chain Solutions (TVS SCS) in 2004. Since then under his able leadership, the company has grown multifold to become a billion-dollar company. The company has a presence across continents making it a truly global company and serving customers in over 50 countries. TVS SCS employs around 17,000 strong workforce in India. Its UK arm also provides over 2500 jobs.

Currently, the companies under his management have a turnover of around USD 2 Billion and employ more than 25,000 people. Shantanu Jaiswal is head of India research at BloombergNEF and is based in New Delhi. He leads a team responsible for producing policy, economic, business and investment analysis in the power and transport industries. From primary data collection to producing long-term scenario analysis, he is also involved in bespoke consultancy projects in India and neighboring countries.
Shantanu has worked in several energy sectors including renewables, coal, biofuels, energy storage, electric mobility, electricity retail and sustainable finance. With nearly 15 years of experience in renewable energy and power markets, he regularly speaks at conferences and is often quoted in the media. Shantanu is a Mechanical Engineer and holds an MBA in Power Management.
As the CEO of TASK, his major role is enhancing the employability for the youth in Telangana under the Department of ITE&C, Government of Telangana. He has been responsible for onboarding Govt. degree colleges and polytechnics, multiple industry partners as well enhanced the offerings at TASK. his priority has been to increase focus on the rural areas of the state as well as to promote skilling and placement of girls and the underserved communities. With the onset of the COVID pandemic, he has been spearheading the transition of conventional training programs to virtual (online and blended) mode, and initiated several webinar series on various subjects.

With growing penetration of EVCI, there is a need for better distribution grid planning to ensure sustainable and safe adoption of e-mobility. There are passive and active measures that utilities can adopt for managed/ controlled charging. Further, with increasing battery fires, there are safety concerns with set up of EVCI & EV parking in building basements, including cybersecurity risks with introduction of V2G, V2H/B, V2V mechanisms.
In line with this, Administrative Staff College of India, Natural Resources Defense Council India and International Copper Association are conducting two Technical panel discussions with key national and international experts, Telangana statutory bodies like CEIG and Fire Department and select state utilities in India.
